​Board of Creative Arts

The Board of Creative Arts has charge of the inclusion of any arts within the church.  It functions as a support group for the Director of Music.  The Board plans and implements events pertaining to the arts such as special concerts, exhibits and other special arts events both during the service and outside of it.  The Board of Creative Arts is responsible for selection of a Director of Music, in consultation with the ministry and subject to the call of the congregation.  It shall have authority, with the approval of the ministry and trustees, to engage and terminate the services of members of the musical staff, such as organist, choir director and paid soloists.  It shall appoint one (1) member to serve on the Finance Committee when the committee is preparing the annual budget.
