Join us in West Center's
 Annual School Supply Collection

Now Until August 10, 2025

The following are requested supplies:
Scissors
Pocket folders
Pencil boxes
Glue sticks
Hand sanitizers
Tissues
Washable markers
Highlighters
Pens
Pencils, both black and colored
Pink erasers
Crayons - boxes of 16 or 24
Marble notebooks
Backpacks
Rulers

The Board of World Service is collecting school supplies to donate to the Salvation Army for distribution to needy students in Yonkers. Staples has had and continues to have big sales, where there are a lot of bargains for the supplies on the list; Target and other stores are having sales, too.

You can also make monetary donations by writing a check to West Center Congregational Church and noting "School Supplies" on the memo line, which can be left in the collection plate during the offering or sent to the church.

All donations are needed at West Center by August 10, 2025 to allow enough time for the Salvation Army to organize for the school children before school starts.  Whether you shop the sales or write a check, this is such an easy thing to do to help a student get a head start on the school year.  Whatever you can give is most appreciated!

If you would like to know more,
please join us in our worship on
Sunday at 11:00 AM.

Peace!
